CITY PAUSE
I went out on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 with the goal of documenting the city of Toronto, during the Pandemic global crisis. This short film captures what a big city looks like when it's at a virtual stand-still, the normal canopy and distractions are removed, and the bare urban landscape and life are revealed.

It's a new year and there's lots of optimism in the air, but we're still breathing it all in through the use of masks. We were never in this together. Our divisions in Toronto have been exposed by this virus; economic, race, geographic, housing... Covid revealed our skeletons, the fog is cleared. Where do we go from here? Business as usual, or a higher path? It's twentytwentynew.
